Nichole

Nichole is a mother and freelance writer living in rural Ohio where snacks don’t grow on trees. She spends her days hiding the snacks from her four children in the hopes of actually getting to enjoy a bag Chex mix, a pint of Double Fudge Brownie Ice Cream or Beef Jerky (though not all at once, or MAYBE all at once), all to herself. She was forced to openly admit her love of snacks as a pregnant Administrative Assistant in late 2005 when she discovered a large part of her spare change was going to the vending machine at work. After raging an all out war on said vending machine when it refused to give up her bag of Cheese popcorn, Nichole knew that her snack fetish was affecting her job.

With that knowledge in mind, she asked for an early Maternity leave and vowed never to return to the land of uncooperative vending machines again. She currently spends her days as a freelance writer creating pieces of work for her local newspaper, the Internet and various private clients, all the while chasing children and constantly moving the location of her secret stash of snacks. You can read more about Nichole at her blog, Chaos in the Country.
