Allissa
Allissa hails from western Massachusetts, land of cows and merriment. Like many snack lovers, her fascination with bite-sized morsels began at a young age, when she discovered she could eat seven pudding cups without succumbing to anaphylactic shock. Allissa’s snack obsession might have spiraled out-of-control were it not for her caring parents (who fed her apples and granola) and her selfish classmates (who refused to trade their Hostess Ding Dongs for apples and granola).
For the past three years, Allissa has been a college student in Providence, RI, where she’s shown a great determination in earning a degree with zero market value. Such a feat would have proved impossible without a bounty of snacks, and Allissa wouldn’t be surprised if the campus market erected a plaque in her honor after she graduates. But seriously, you try writing a 15-page paper on medieval farming practices without a steady supply of Doritos and Red Bull. It can’t be done.
When she’s not squandering her academic experience, Allissa can be found baking cakes, rummaging through bargain bins, and writing for her pop-culture themed blog, Twist Top. Her greatest ambition is to one day own a pug, who she will train to yowl the theme song from Rawhide, for no particular reason.
