Snack Review: Kraft Bagel-fuls

Bagel-fuls are toasty warm bagels with a cream cheese filling inside. I tried the brown sugar and cinnamon bagel with cinnamon cream cheese inside. Sounds yummy, right?
After zapping it in the microwave for 15 seconds, I immediately wanted to bite into it and when I did, the outside tasted just like a soft chewy bagel. As for the cream cheese inside, the texture was creamy, but I couldn’t really taste it, so my thoughts are that it should be a little stronger tasting, or possibly have more cream cheese in it.

I would like this better if the cream cheese was cold, and the bagel was warm, but I realize there is no possible way to do that with this product. I tried it in the microwave like it said, but it can also be eaten right out of the refrigerator. I took a bite of it once out of the refrigerator, but it really didn’t taste as good.
While I wasn’t overly excited about these after eating them, the bagel part of the snack seemed to draw me in as I decided to have another one. Once again, my thoughts were exactly the same: more cream cheese.
Overall, these are good for a fast snack that you can carry around with you and stick in the microwave. While these are a good try, there’s nothing like an old-fashioned bagel with cream cheese slathered all over it.
These Bagel-fuls come in many flavors such as Original, Cinnamon, Strawberry, Chive and Whole Grain.
Has anyone tried these? What are your opinions on them?

As a native New Yorker, these strike me as a portent of the end of
Western civilization. But I admit, I said the same thing the first time
I saw a blueberry-flavored bagel and somehow we still seem to be doing
OK.

Definitely try these out and let me know what you think. I seem to be craving more…. ![]()

They look like a dissected sea cucumber. I don’t understand the Kraft people — what’s so difficult about toasting a bagel and swiping cream cheese on it? Chalk it up to super convenience and our American quest for speedy food NOW!
But hey, Diana, thanks for taking one for the team and trying these aberrations of the breakfast-food world!

I got a free sample of these at a fair. They heated them up in a toaster oven (no microwave for them!) and I thought they were really good. I’m not a big fan of cream cheese, so it was interesting that I liked them.

I bought a box of the cinnamon. At first I liked them, but now that 6 weeks have passed and I’ve finally finished the box, I’m no longer a fan of them. The only other flavor I was interested in was the Chive but could never find it at any of the stores.

I bought mine at a convenience store where they had them bagged up and hot. I was hooked first time. I don’t even like bagels. These are so much better. Bagel will choke you to death before you can finish a whole one. These taste like someone sliced off the top of a bagel and filled it with cream cheese and they are not sweet. I want to find out what grocery store sells them so that I can buy them. The convenience store said that they weren’t going over too good. I think it is because they haven’t tried them.

These are terrific. I’ve tried the plain and cinnamon. Both are great. Easy to heat. Yummy.

I’ve had the chive and the cinnamon (not at the same time). I totally recommend heating these in a toaster oven. Then you get the bagel a little crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and the cream cheese is cold if you don’t leave it in the toaster oven too long. I love these. By the way, one of the posters above asked what’s so hard about putting cream cheese on a bagel? well, if you live in Montana, like I do, these are the best bagels out there. The locally made ones are either way too bready or too dense and hard. These are really good.

These were created by a NY bagel shop owner, so of course the bagel will taste authentic!

I have not tried these, but I work at a grocery store and my customers love them. I keep telling myself I’ll try them but forget when it comes time to go home.
