Snack Giveaway: Little Debbie Goodies!

Ever wondered what it’s like to be an official Snackerrific staff member? Well, here’s your chance to find out! The wonderful folks over at Little Debbie have set aside three boxes identical to the one Jim received for his review of Little Debbie’s New 100 Calorie Snacks, and one of them could be yours!
From the anticipation through to the tasty finale, the life of a Snackerrific snacker is never dull. For your chance to experience the same joy (and get a BUNCH of tasty snacks to boot), simply leave a comment telling us your snack-related New Year’s resolution.
This massive box (my picture really doesn’t do it justice) includes full-size boxes of the 100 calorie versions of Snow Puffs, Nutty Bars, Chocolate Cakes, Marshmallow Treats, Triple Fudge Brownies, Yellow Cakes, Nutty Bar BP Stix, and Gingerbread Cookies. I’m told these come packed fresh from the bakery, so you know they’re fresh and yummy.
Don’t forget to use your real email address when you leave your comment - it won’t appear on the site, but we need it to notify you if you win!
The contest will be open until January 30, 2009. Three winners will be selected at random from all entries that qualify.
The fine print
Prizes can be sent to the Lower 48 only. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. One entry per person, per email address. Offer void where prohibited. Not responsible for lost, misdirected, or unread e-mail. If you don’t reply to the winning email in 2 days, your prize will be forfeit and we will choose another winner. Entries must be received no later than midnight EST on January 30, 2009.

i have resolved ot try an eat an apple or some other healthy item before i snack on somwthing else, if i still want something bad after i have an apple or carrot sticks or whatever then i go ahead and eat it. That way you eat bad food ‘cos you want it and you don’t fill up on the unhealthy stuff but you enjoy it more as you don’t wolf it down.

Mine is to try to eat fruits for snacks. Or maybe some salsa. Thanks!

I have a bad habit of getting into a rut with snacks - always settling for the same old familiar choices. So my resolution is to take inspiration from review blogs like Snackerrific, and to try something new and different as often as I can.
dorsy28 on January 16th, 2009
My resolution? Brush my teeth frequently! Then if I really don’t want a snack I won’t eat it just to keep my mouth occupied. A good snack, however, is worth re-brushing!
Chelsea on January 16th, 2009
The look and sound yummy! My new year’s snack resoolution is to choose healty, yet tasty snacks. I am no longer going to eat flavorless bland snack just because of a low-calorie count. I would rather eat a smaller portion of a rich, buttery popcorn than a 100 calorie pack of fat-free, bland popcorn. Thank you.

Betty on January 17th, 2009
whoever came up with the idea of providing 100 cal packages deserves an award. Little Debbie cakes have always been a tasty treat and we can all benefit from the portion control aspect.

angelwings on January 18th, 2009
My new year resolution is to take better care of myself.
Taking care of myself is training myself to be more mindful of what I need and when I need it. If I am going to be away from home: putting a healthy snack in my purse and keeping a case of bottled water in the trunk reduces temptation to stop at a fast food restaurant. If at home: keeping fruit and low calorie snacks in a highly visible place will reduce the temptation to just grab a sleeve of crackers when hunger pains strike.
Taking care of myself is finally putting into practice all of the articles and books that I have read on staying healthy. I already know what to do … I just have to do it!
J83pc on January 18th, 2009
My resolution would be to buy more healthy snacks for at home (not to mention a few non-healthy snacks to hide in a secret stash at the office).

I’m starting to eat oatmeal again as a snack. Because I have to heat up each batch, there’s inherent portion control. Plus, it’s ultra healthy, and I love the texture when it’s cooked in minimal liquid.
jperonto on January 18th, 2009
My new years resolution is to stop being so dang crazy about eating all/mostly organic! I miss all of the normal foods (including little debbie)!!! The past few weeks have been great, and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these little snackies! Hopefully I can get lucky with this little contest!

OMGosh, what a great giveaway!!!
My new years snack resolution is to not snack after 8pm. I have a terrible habit of eating late at night, and I’m working to break it!
Nora on January 20th, 2009
My New Year’s snack resolution can be the same as my regular New Year’s resolution: to continue with all of the healthy habits that I recently picked up in 2008! I have lost 80 lbs since July 2008 (I can provide photographic evidence if needed, LOL) and I can tell you for sure that I DIDN’T do it by giving up entirely on all of my favorite snacks… Though now I’m much more likely to choose an apple or some carrot sticks over a cookie when I’m looking for a snack, trying to quit cold turkey is just setting yourself up for disaster. Everything in moderation, baby! And these Little Debbie 100-calorie snacks look like the perfect way to have a little taste of something that I’m really craving… I’ve been wanting to try them for a while (especially the peanut butter ones; I LOVE PB!), but of course getting them for free would make it all the more “sweeter,” hehe. ![]()

In the past year and a half, I’ve lost 82 pounds (okay, 82.6 pounds!) on Weight Watchers. I couldn’t have done it without regular hits of chocolate. Now I’m a Lifetime Member, and I’m working to maintain the weight loss. Little Debbie’s 100-calorie snack packs were meant to be in my cupboard. They help me count my daily food points, and still provide me with my favorite chocolate cake treats.
Great giveaway. Thanks!

Trying to loose weight has many challenges. Snacks are one MAJOR challenge. It’s the one thing I tend to splurge on. My New Years snack resolution is to find a snack that will satisfy my sweet tooth! I didn’t know that Little Debbie had so many different 100 calorie snacks. That’s awesome! It’s just what I need!
DeltaBear on January 26th, 2009
I’m trying to eat a box of Little Debbie snacks every week, so far I’ve had 2 boxes of Christmas Tree cakes and 2 boxes of Nutty Bars. So if they are the 100 calorie kind it would keep my waist from expanding more than it is…if not I guess I’ll just keep eating my mmm mmm good snacks…:)
gr8pillock@aol.com on January 26th, 2009
My resolution was to stop denying myself things. Having been watching my weight for so long I became accustomed to avoiding the snack aisle and man did I miss it. Now, I stock the house with Little Debbie 100 Calorie Snacks (literally, every time I see a new one, I buy it and try it the minute I get home. So yummy!) and have one whenever my sweet tooth kicks in. Lost ten pounds since New Year’s so, I’d say Little Debbie rules.
Terra on January 27th, 2009
My snack-related resolution is to turn a snack into, well, a snack! I tend to overdo it on the between-meal grazing, so this year I want to focus on eating smaller quantities, such as the 100-calories snack packs. I had no idea Little Debbie’s made 100-calories snacks; I’m definitely going to check those out.
